Google Play – Wild Rift Music Video
Thanks to our friends over at Google Play and Riot Games, we were able to assemble a squad of the finest gaming influencers (including Maxim Markow, Lara Loft, Papo, Sissor and Niklas Kolorz) to produce a music video that surely hit the music charts of Summoner’s Rift.
The Challenge
It was our ambition to create a music video experience that features a top notch creator lineup, first class production quality and – most importantly – a result which can be celebrated by the League of Legends: Wild Rift community. Google Play and Riot Games supported us throughout the whole process and enabled the creation of a one of a kind activation.
The Idea
We put our heads together to come up with an idea that unites a suitable representation of League of Legends: Wild Rift with an out-of-the-box approach which places various gaming influencers in the limelight of a Wild Rift themed music video with hip-hop elements and a catchy hook. The combination of our authentic song experience, true to the original costumes and replicas, a vivid editing style, various props as well as an intensive studio production was predestined for a magnificent result on the channel of Maxim Markow. Besides him Papo, Sissor, Lara Loft and Nikas Kolorz were able to complete the lineup with great performances in the roles of some of the most iconic champions.
The Result
Our efforts resulted in a terrific music video that collected more than 100,000 views in the first days after the release. With a lot of positive feedback from the community and an epic video thumbnail (down below) that actually made it into the League of Legends client in mind, we want to apologize for all of the earwigs that were caused by the song.
